Good location, good price, needs some work. A review of Sealodge at Princeville
Just came back from my first stay in the project, and my first stay anywhere on Kauai's north shore. Location-wise, a great place to launch explorations. Our unit was fashionably decorated, and affordable. But: 1) the unit was falsely advertised as including a washer/dryer; 2) some things didn't work: garbage disposal, light in microwave, nitelight in bathroom; the shower control pulled out of the wall; 3) the kitchen didn't have any cutting boards; 4) the lone ceiling fan was over the dining table, which we never used; fortunately, we found a floor stand fan that we moved to where we spent time (living room, bedroom); 5) the unit faces the afternoon sun and the thin curtains did a poor job of shielding from the heat; 6) due to the configuration of the structures, the unit was shielded from most of the cooling breezes. Still, we would probably go back because of the good price and the location.
