Good location but otherwise just OK A review of Quality Inn Historic Area
I understand this hotel was recently updated and converted to a Quality Inn. I really didn't find much about this hotel that makes it stand out from any others. Some notable things: breakfast probably below average - just muffins and bagels, really nothing else. Restaurant on the 5th floor which is a pain too. Rooms had double beds - nice if they had been queen size. Another review said there was high speed internet (wireless?) It would have been nice if they advertised it because I didn't check and just assumed there wasn't any (no wired connection, that is for sure). An outdoor pool (appeared somewhat small) compared to the indoor pool right next door at the comfort. The room also was noisy (maybe it was just luck of the draw with noisy kids nearby). On the plus size, the bathroom, though small, was remodeled and was nice. The bathroom amenities were nice, the furniture was new. I would stay there again if the price was right, but it would probably not be my first choice.....
