We used this hotel for a pre-cruise stay of one night. It is within three miles of the airport and provides 24 hour free shuttle. The shuttle does not run on a continual basis so it is best to call them as soon as you get off the plane so they can come over. The hotel appears to be pretty new and is in an area where there is some other new construction going on. The area itself is pretty isolated but as we arrived late we had no interest in going out anyway. The room rate does include a breakfast buffet, and it is a pretty decent spread (bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, milk, juices, coffee, etc). Plenty to fill you up.

There did not appear to be any eating places within walking distance that I could see so if you are without car that could be a problem. However, I did not look too hard as we had no interest in eating out upon arrival.

The rooms are nice sized and are typical standard motel furnishings. The bathroom is very large and has nice fixtures. The queen size bed is excellent. The staff is very friendly and the shuttle service during the day runs every 30 minutes and is quite efficient.

All in all this is a good hotel for short stays and especially good for a pre-cruise stay if one is arriving late and it makes no sense to be downtown. Another plus is that since the train to Seward for cruise passengers leaves from the airport, you can easily go back to airport on the shuttle, check in for the train at the airport and avoid the mass of people and never ending lines at the downtown Egan Center where the folks that stayed downtown must checkin. Much nicer to do it at the airport with the cruise line reps.
