Good hotel, long walk. A review of City Club Hotel

The Hotel City-Club is a decent 3 star hotel on the outskirts of the main part of the city. Rooms are a good size (those at the front can be a tad noisy) with good en-suites. Desk staff very helpful though it takes ages to get your room if a large group is checking in as there's often only one person on the desk and the security guy won't even take your card key to put in your pigeon hole. Breakfast is a continental self-serve with a good variety of cold food, cereals, bread and jams/honey.

If you have a car the entrance to the garage is very very tight, take care. Only disadvantage is that walking back from the centre of Prague is a haul as it's all uphill and the cobbles can be hard on the feet. Nearest metro, Pavlova, is a 5 - 10 minute walk. I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel but would advise that if you're going to book car hire, DON'T use Alimex.
