Good enough! A review of Quality Inn
We spent just one night in Taos, and the Quality Inn delivered. The front desk woman was very pleasant and helpful... she switched our room when we weren't happy with the first one (the first was a king room that overlooked the roof and was adjacent to the stairs). Our second room was pretty spacious with two queens, a large dresser, table and chairs. The room was standard in decor, but the price was right. However, we could hear full conversations in both adjoining rooms (thin walls). I would recommend that future guests ask for a room that is well-removed from other people. We did not have the complimentary breakfast because the restaurant was packed with at least eight other tables ahead of us awaiting their food... we simply didn't have time to spend an hour on breakfast. We also didn't use the outdoor pool due to the cool weather, but it looks like a great place, especially for families. The Quality Inn is located a good mile or two away from the plaza and shops, but worth the price.
