Good, Cheap Hotel... A review of Days Inn
We recently stayed at the Days Inn in Mystic and would have little trouble recommending it to others. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and with a free breakfast (including self-made waffles, cereal, bagels, donuts, and the rest), it's pretty tough to beat it for value. We don't travel a lot, but it was perfectly fine. The only complaint was a noisy heater/AC unit in the room. Bed was a little too bouncy, but not really uncomfortable, just different than home. :) Offsetting that was the cleaning person who came running out to our car just before we left with a T-shirt that we had mistakenly left on a towel rack in the bathroom. The pool was very nice and clean and there were plenty of (small) towels when we went. *Very* close to both the aquarium and Olde Mistic Village (nearly walking distance depending on your feet). Only a short drive to the Seaport. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because... well... it's a Day's Inn.
