Good, but can be better A review of Courtyard by Marriott Williamsburg Busch Gardens Area

My family and I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott during the July 4th holiday. We made the reservations, on-line, on the day we were traveling to Williamsburg. The reservation was received by the hotel and our room was waiting for us when we arrived. We had a ground floor room, with 2 queen beds across from the pool. The room also had a small refrigerator in it.

The room was clean, but was in okay physical condition. The vent in the bathroom did not work, so when we showered, the steam built up in the room. This in turn made it difficult for the air conditioner to cool off the room. The fixture which held the iron and ironing board in the closet was not well attached to the wall. It however held the two items sufficiently. The service, on the other hand, was great. We called to the front desk for extra towels and a rollaway bed on two separate occasions and had them both within 15 minutes. The pool was also good. It was both indoors and outdoors. They also had a jacuzzi.

Our overall experience, between the hotel, local restaurants and Busch Gardens, was very good. I would stay at this hotel again. Under the same circumstances, I would probably ask for another room. Because we were only there for a day and a half and because we spent very little time in the room, I did not. I do not regret it however.
