Good bargain, Good location A review of Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport - Burlingame
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights on a little getaway. A couple of things about Burlingame: it is a small airport town, not much around but all you need within 5 miles. The hotel is right on the bay, don't compare this to an oceanview- there is a difference. As far as the hotel we were very pleased. Remember this is an airport, business hotel so what they predominantly cater to is the business traveler or those that are there for a conference. Beware of getting a "courtyard/garden view room". You face the inside atrium of the hotel and if there is any kind of event, it is loud. Also the restaurant/ buffet is there so you can hear the nosies of it. Other than that parking is $13. You can reach any place you need to see in San Francisco in less than 30 minutes. We found downtown San Mateo to be a nice little town which was only 5 minutes south. We paid $59 a night, cant beat that price for the quality of this hotel. I would check ahead to see if there are any conferences, this is one of the largest hotels in Northern California and I am sure they host some very large conferences. For the business traveler, this place will probably be just right.
