Golf, shopping, what more can you ask for? A review of Omni Interlocken Resort
We stayed at the Omni June 9-12. Upon entering the lobby to check in, I was offered champagne or lemonade. I am a member of their Select Guest program. My key was waiting for me. We stayed in room 939. We had a view of the mountains and the Flatiron Crossing shopping area. It was a little larger than the average room. We had all the amenities. Robes, Eucalyptus to hang on our tub faucet so water would run over it for our baths, bottled water and mints delivered to us with turndown service, incredibly comfortable beds with down comforters, etc. The spa was under construction. However, the gym was open and had the basics for you to have a decent workout. The pool was outdoors and had towels and a bar there for your convenience. The location is fabulous. Easy access to DIA (Denver Airport) or get on Hwy. 36 and head for Denver or Boulder. You also are about a 45 minute drive to Black Hawk, Central City for gambling, or ski areas are very convenient. The shopping area has EVERYTHING you could ever want or imagine. There are also factory outlet malls just about every direction. The golf courses are above average in play and price. The Meritage restauant off the lobby has wonderful brunch and the food from the menu is good value and very tasty. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer!
