Go here!!! The best!!!! A review of The Lodge at Buckberry Creek
My stay at the Lodge was simply amazing. First, I couldn't find it, because mapquest gave me wrong directions. Eventually I did. It's on top of a mountain. Really high up. Since I wasn't expecting this, and I'm afraid of heights, it was a little freaky. Every night they come to your door with a plate of 2 or 3 cookies. A different flavor every night. Great. If you order the chocolate covered strawberries, they are wonderful. Everything was spotless. They had extra blankets, tons of plush pillows on the bed and very comfortable bath robes. The bottled water they give you is a great souvenier, because it has a Lodge label on it. Also, they even deliver the paper to you. Not just daily like any other hotel, but they give you a Sunday paper too. Also, plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, and Mello Yello are provided.
The balcony is a great place to just sit and breathe the mountain air. Get a room with a good view. Mine was just lower trees. But I also could see far off mountains with fog around them. Beautiful. The Lodge has the nicest staff ever. They will accomodate any need you want. They go out of their way to help you make it the best stay.
This is a long post and your'e probably thinking something has to be wrong with the hotel. But everything is perfect.
My suggestion: While in the jetted tub with your significant other, have a plate of chocolate covered strawberries on one corner, champagne in another, bubbles in the tub, and have fun. That's what I did. Eli
