Get a low room or wait for elevators A review of Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront / N 37th St
stayed here August 19-20th, First impressions are hard to overcome, No Bell service unless you beg, As I had to park car, my wife struggled with the luggage and the Person outside, not sure what his duties are just watched, then when we checked in, they informed us of that a beach umbrella was $25 a day, so we didn't even ask about chairs. Then the elevator wait started, imagine 2 elevators for the entire hotel including staff. Thank goodness we were on the second floor. We used the stairs. The room was clean and the views of the ocean with the dolphins going by every morning were great, and the outdoor pool is nice. So if you go bring your own beach umbrella and chairs, or you can buy them down there, 100s of places to buy things. Great Golf courses all with easy driving distance. The beaches are really nice and clean.
BUT $199 for a hotel I really expected better service, or at least some, and do you really want to spend half your vacation waiting for Elevators?
