Generally OK A review of The Hotel - Brussels
I stayed in the Hilton Brussels from 4-8 September. It is some distance from the Grand Place area, but it can easily be reached by subway (especially at night since I wasn't sure of the neighborhood at night between GP and the hotel). There is a Metro station that is a few blocks away (2-3 minutes by foot), and that also easily connects you to the Gare Midi (convenient if you take the train from the airport and have only one or two bags). It would have been great if it were more central so that it was easy to stay out when the subways closed at midnite. But I like that the hotel was in a generally quiet neighborhood. I too was disappointed that there was no complimentary coffee or tea (EUR 5, if you use the package in the minibar). American breakfast at EUR 22 was outrageous. But the room and bathroom were spacious and clean.
