Friendly, but noisy A review of NH Brussels City Centre

Welcomed by friendly check-in staff, fast efficient service, recommended local restaurant which was friendly with good food. All excellent. However, trying to sleep in their noisy rooms facing the main road is difficult, and the service conduit by the bed head gurgled all night. To cap it all the beds are remarkably small, somewhat of a shock after the hotels in Germany. Still, after a bad nights sleep a hearty breakfast might help me through the day. Well nineteen Euros gets you a buffet of chewy pastries, and mediocre coffee. All just irritating, but when you complain about it the staff just smile and say other hotels charge more for breakfast. Yes they do, but then there are many others who charge a lot less and serve a far superior breakfast, and also show some concern when you complain.
