First class timeshare resort - lots to see and do. Great! A review of Marriott's Manor Club at Ford's Colony

I am going to continue going to Marriott Manor Club every year, sometimes twice. The place is fantastic, spotless large suites, great golf views (as well as golfing on their 3 courses for reasonable fees) and tons of things to do like Busch Gardens, Virginia Beach (30 min drive), historical sites, Jamestown, Norfolk, and great food (try Whaling Co. near Busch Gardens 10 min away).

The resort golf club has two onsight restaurants - one expensive but 5-star gourmet that's incredible. Outlet shopping abounds everywhere in Williamsburg, and very close to Manor Club. They have a small Spa service that we used once and enjoyed. The pools at the main area are smallish but there is a huge one just across a little road. Lots of BBQ's. the Marketplace convenience store is on sight and has pizza, etc. in the main building, open till 10 pm. Furnishings are first class, and in keeping with old Virginia ambiance.

If you want smaller, cheaper places than 2 bedroom suites, Manor Club has that too across the road - three buildings (and pool) that have studios (with kitchenettes), 1 bedroom suites, and 2 bedroom suites that are a combination of the two.
