Fine choice A review of Hotel Prinsenhof Bruges
This being my second trip in 2 years to Brugge, I tried the Prinsenhof this time around. (Last time I stayed at the Cordonier which while nice, wasn't quite what I'd hoped.) I was very pleased with the room at the Prins, the service, and location. Nice quiet street just a 2 minute walk from the Markt. Staff was very helpful and attentive and the room was very clean and well kept. The walls to the adjoining rooms were a little thin, but I have *yet* to stay in a 3 or 4 start hotel in europe where this isn't the case. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Breakfast here is an additional 15 euros extra, but while it's convenient and adequate, it is much easier (and cheaper) to stroll a half a block down the street to get a light breakfast and coffee at the numerous tea rooms, broodje shops, etc. The hotel also has a lift and free computer access to check email. I will definitely return to the prinsenhof next time I'm in town.
