Find a different hotel A review of Hyatt Regency DFW

I stayed here on the first and last nights of a vacation in Dallas, but would pick a different hotel next time. There was nothing actually WRONG with the hotel, but I'm sure you could find another hotel near the airport that is a bit nicer. First of all, there is MAJOR construction going on. My balcony on the first night had a sign that it was closed. The beds were OK, but low to the ground and one was sagging a little. The room is large, but there is not much in it. The runways are a little ways away, so you can see the planes, but not close up. You can definitely hear the noise from them though. The pool is outside and overlooks a road and the parking garage. The breakfast buffet was expensive ($11.95 for continental) and had little to offer. Parking is free, but a pain to get your ticket validated if you go in and out while you're there. If you're staying near the airport, I would recommend finding another hotel nearby. I have stayed in other Hyatts (including some at airports) and have been much more impressed than I was with this one.
