Fascinating - good price/quality ratio A review of Radisson Royal Moscow
I have spent 4 nights at this hotel (28 - 31 may 2004).
The hotel is located pretty close to Arbat street (15/20 minutes on foot), the metro station is 10 minutes away, the bus stop is very close.
From the outside the building is huge and impressive, but it has its own style (Stalinian). The old-fashioned rooms are furnished with old pieces of furniture (probably still the original from the late 50s!), but are clean and nice. There might be some renovated rooms.
Continental, buffet breakfast is served in a impressive room.
People at the reception aren't very nice and do not speak English as well as you would expect (very few people in Russia speak English)
Important: you will have to pay if you want to leave your luggage in the luggage room.
Very good price/quality ratio.
