Fantastic location A review of Ca' San Rocco

My husband and I just got back from a long weekend at this family-run B & B. It's an amazing location; close enough to Piazzale Roma that you don't have to walk to far with luggage, close to the studenty area of Campo Santa Margarita to go out at night, but on a quiet side street so you get a perfect night's sleep. And you can still easily walk to all the well-worn touristy bits if so desired. Frari, Scuola San Rocco, San Pantalon with it's amazing ceiling & the fantastically tilty San Barnaba are all on the doorstep.

The room & shower room were immaculate, bed was comfy & huge, and the room was flooded with sunlight ( a treat in a city with such narrow streets). The central heating worked perfectly, as did the 2 heated towel rails. Staff were friendly, breakfast was tasty (with a very inviting-looking terrace that we'll have to try out next time when the weather is better), and even a little courtyard to sit in in good weather.

If I had to find one fault, the shower was a little small. But the bathroom is clean, gorgeous and brand-spanking new. You can see they've put a lot of thought (and money) into doing this place up. You quickly get over the size of the shower!

We would definitely stay here again.
