Fantastic location, lovely rooms A review of Archibald At The Charles Bridge

Superb location almost literally underneath the Charles Bridge! Located on a really quaint and quiet island - named "Kampe".

This was a very friendly, clean, recently refurbished hotel - due to the flooding.

The room felt like a flat with a separate hall-way leading to the bathroom/main bedroom.

Nice furniture, although two substantial wooden single beds were pushed together to form a double - apparently this is the norm.

The only downside was the room was a little cold even with the radiators on but this didn't cause too much of a problem to us.

We had breakfast each day which was nice and we ate evening meal here on two ocassions, once in "Pub I" and the other time in "Pub II" which are located on the ground floor/basement. Czech food is very hearty which is what you want when it's -10 and snowing outside like it was when we were there!

Took the Prague Airport Shuttle from the airport and a standard taxi back without problem.

Would stay here again without question.
