FANTASTIC HOTEL A review of The Westin Sydney
Stayed here for 6 nights over the New Year Period 04/05. Hotel was fantastic, spotless, welcoming and with excellent service. The reason I say excellent service is no thanks to British Airways managing to lose our luggage (in total for 5 days)!
Having endured many conversations with lost luggage at BA to no avail, and losing countless hours of our holiday in our previous destination Singapore buying essentials when we arrived at the Sydney The Westin we were fed up with the non appearance of our luggage and time it was taking to locate it. The Conscierge service at the Westin was fantastic, they took over the role of trying to locate our lost baggage and continued to ring and chase the airlines to find out what was happening with the luggage.
As they took all the hassle away from us, it meant we could enjoy the fantastic sights of Sydney. The conscierge guys were so helpful, they looked genuinely pleased for us when our luggage finally turned up 5 days after leaving it in the 'care' of BA.
This hotel is worth its money, and is exceptional. The rooms are superb and the beds heavenly, it really is a great base for exploring Sydney and the poplular destinations like the Rocks, Darling Harbour, Sydney Harbour and is just a short walk from everything you need. As for the airline I travelled on to get there, well thats another story!!
