Fall in Rehoboth A review of Boardwalk Plaza Hotel
We took a fall trip to Rehoboth, a laid-back, sophisticated and low-key beach town. The Boardwalk Plaza, right on the beach and pleasant boardwalk, has a delightful little seating area on the boardwalk itself. We enjoyed breakfast there twice. Be patient, sometimes the staff or kitchen or both are overwhelmed, but just sit and enjoy the ocean and people. One day the service was excellent. One day the service was terrible. Food is good. The hotel itself is a hub of Victoriana including two birds in the lobby. The spa/pool would be better billed as a hot tub. There really is no pool. The hotel's best selling point, besides location, is the staff. They are unfailingly responsive and helpful. We reserved through Luxury Link. While the hotel is quite nice, I would not put it in the category of similar properties in LL, which speaks to my reticence in this review.
