Fairytale Setting A review of Hotel Lippert
Just returned from a three night stay at this hotel over the British Whitsun holiday so Prague was bustling but although this hotel is at a corner of the Old Square it was extremely quiet at night. We opened our curtains to a fantastic view of the square across to the Tyr Cathedral. Room was large with a beamed ceiling decorated in Delft blue Dutch-type circular paintings. The bathroom had a lovely shower and our only complaint was that the maid was not too thorough and we did not have clean towels at all. Perhaps we should have dumped them in the shower each day to give her the message and as the temperature was in the high eighties they never stayed damp!! Breakfast was a cold buffet and very tasty. I have raved about Prague since coming home and would say it is well worth a visit but three nights is not long enough.
