FAB,FAB,FAB. A review of NH Prague
Having just returned from a weekend at the Movenpick I can only say Tripadvisor user from Cambridge must have stayed in a different hotel. We were a party of 14 women, we booked through Totalstay for ?78.50 per person for 3 nights B&B , we have stayed in hotels all over the world and I can honestly say this is the best one I have ever stayed in. One quick e-mail before we left home and they arranged a mini bus to collect us and take us back to the airport for a small charge. On arrival we were booked into the executive wing, the staff were excellent from the maid who brought us extra pillows within 5 mins of asking, to David the barman and the front desk staff could'nt have been more helpful, they advised us on sightseeing provided maps and even sold us the underground tickets (12Kc -approx 25p per ticket-buy 2 -one for the way out and one for the return valid for an hour from first validation on tubes, buses and trams) There was a free shuttle bus to Andel the nearest Metro stop but it was only a 2min walk(we timed it) if you went from the front of the hotel admittedly via the road works or a 3min walk around the back of the hotel by a well lit path. Prague is really cheap to eat and drink we had a meal in the Italian place across from the hotel 2 courses with wine for less than ?4, and the first pub you come to on the way to the metro the front way sold us pints af beer for about 30p. We would all return to Prague and definately return to the Movenpick- pure luxury no sign of snobbery at all we wore jeans and jumpers all weekend and didn't once feel or were made to feel out of place.
