Excellent value! A review of Grand Hotel Bohemia
Just returned from a three-night stay at the Grand Hotel Bohemia. We got a low rate through a Czech booking office, so we thought getting a smallish room was part of the deal and did not complain. However, the porter, totally unprompted, offered to see if they could move us to a larger room as soon as it became available; sure enough, the next day we were given a large room with separate sitting area and city view. Impeccable bathroom, generous breakfast buffet, friendly and competent staff: ok, ther's no fitness room, but after a full day walking around to take in the wonderful sights we doubt whether your legs will be aching for a treadmill (ours were aching, period). Just a little note: the "double" beds have two separate mattresses placed side by side, which can be awkward on instances. All in all we'd definitely recommend this hotel.
