Excellent to the North of Monument Valley A review of Desert Rose Inn & Cabins
We stayed here for one night after trying to book Gouldings in Monument Valley itself. It was nearly an hour's drive north of the visitor's centre although we were very glad to make this drive. Otherwise we wouldn't have found the Valley of the Gods drive which was fab but not for the faint-hearted in a normal car, which we had!
The hotel was a gem. A wooden lodge exterior with wide balconies you could tie your horse to! We received a warm welcome and our room was a delight. In fact it was the biggest bed we'd ever seen. The furniture was all solid wood, high quality and huge, including the rustic log headboard. Very clean, well appointed with great bathroom and coffee machine.
Thoroughly recommended as are the breathtaking views driving down into Monument Valley.
