Excellence Under Snow A review of Embassy Suites Alexandria-Old Town
Our family had the experience of staying in the Embassy Suites Old Towne during the Great Snow Storm of 2003. We were there with over twenty family members, including six children, for a wedding. When the city shut down because of the record snowfall the hotel staff was superlative in their efforts to provide excellent service. The rooms were cleaned well and efficiently, the breakfast was prepared in a pleasing fashion (the line became long for the grill items about 30 minutes before the grill closed) and the "Happy Hour" went on as planned and in good humor. The front desk staff was very helpful in arranging airport transport. The kids had a great time in the enclosed atrium and swimming pool. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this clean, well-appointed and convenient hotel.
