Easily walkable to men arena A review of ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street Hotel
we stayed at Ibis charles street on a saturday evening as we had tickets to see Rod stewart at the MEN arena, concerned about location to MEN i was surprised at how near it was .
Rooms ok good basic hotel for £51.95 a night for a double room
bathrooms rather groovy ,showers very powerful but toilets made awful and very loud noise just like aeroplanes .
reception area doubles as bar ,greeting area and breakfast room
bar remained open until very early hours of the morning as there were several hen parties staying but we didn't hear any disturbances whilst we were there .
no full cooked english breakfast only continental choices but very good value for £4.95
plenty of eating places around hotel
Car parking opposite hotel £9.00 for 24 hours
girls on reception were very helpful we were over charged by £5 per room which was swiftly refunded and many apologies.
all in all a good place to stay for concerts etc
