Dont pay full price A review of Courtyard Pittsburgh Downtown
for this limited service hotel. Very good locale; a couple of blocks from the river and more upscale hotels, ballpark is walkable for the ambitious. Breakfast only in hotel, but sevral coffee shops nearby (a restaurant /bar next door). Modest. clean lobby with one computer & printer in work station set-up. They're wired, but hotel's computer is so slow. Room clean, well decorated, decent size, bathroom the same. Had to go to front desk to retrieve light bulb (for bedside lamp), extra towel (why do hotels only give you 3 in a king room?) and shower cap, which wasn't in bathroom. Staff is very friendly in an amateur, casual way. $22 to valet park- go down the street to outdoor lot for $10. They offer an area shuttle, which we didnt use.
All in all, an average place. If you are paying full price, go to the Westin or Hilton instead.
