Don't go! A review of Kent Manor Inn
My husband and I went to Kent Manor Inn expecting an excellent Thanksgiving meal in a nice, quaint inn. Boy, were we wrong. Dinner was terrible... upon entering the dining room, other diners told us not to order the turkey as it was awful and the other dishes were equally bad.
They were correct! The meals were cold and sending them back to the kitchen didn't help. My "creamed spinach" was canned spinach; my husband's veal was tough and didn't taste like veal. The only saving grace was that we weren't charged full-price for the meal which was inedible. Breakfast was not much better than dinner...cold cereal, instant oatmeal, dry coffee cake, dry sweet rolls, lukewarm water for the tea...etc, etc. The room was dark, hot, stuffy and the window didn't open; the bed was hard as a rock; some lightbulbs were out in the bathroom and there was no soap, although there was a soap dish.
Overall it was a completely unpleasant experience and we left after breakfast. We would never recommend this inn to anyone.
