Disappointing A review of Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa

our stay here was extremely disappointing. the service - (in the restaurants, the reception area, housekeeping, you name it) was terrible. for example, it took about 3 hours to get an extra key to the room (after being given the royal run around and a key to another room) and 1 1/2 hours to get extra towels in our room. try asking for a glass of water at the restaurant! it took several tries before we were successful, and even then not everyone in our table was given one.

we were woken up one saturday morning at 8 am by a staff member who wanted to know whether we had used anything from the mini bar! granted, we had not put a "do not disturb sign" on our door, but still....

the room we stayed in was small and uncomfortable. the lighting was poor, the tub in the bathroom was stained and the ceiling in the bathroom was caving in at the edges. the carpets in the hallway were worn down and smelled musty.

the one highlight of the hotel is one of the gift stores called jack's crafts which sells an impressive array of local handicrafts. the staff there was very knowledgeable and friendly.
