Disappointed A review of Ramada Plaza Minneapolis

They told me on the phone prior to arriving that they had continental breakfast and a shuttle that went until 10:30 pm. No free breakfast and a shuttle that went only by appointment until 9:00 pm. Why would they tell me that if it's not true? I also heard a dog barking in the hallway. Also, you can easily hear everything that is going on out in the hallway. The rooms that have 2 beds have very small beds-- full size, not queen.

The positive things are the pillows are down pillows. The decor is excellent. Staff was friendly.

I also bought from Hotwire and got the hotel for $45 (listed as university district)-- not a bad price at all, but I wouldn't pay more than that. Keep in mind breakfast costs $6.95 per person, it's not free. No free local calls, either. We got charged $2 for a 30 sec 1-800 number. Taxis are reasonable-- about $12 to get downtown.

All in all, I thought it was a poorly managed hotel that was covered up by a good name (sheraton) and nice decor.
