Disappointed in a Tulsa landmark A review of Hyatt Regency Tulsa
I booked a room in the Crowne Plaza which is the old Adam's Mark downtown. This was for a bachelorette party on Sat. 9/25. Expecting a luxurious cornerstone of downtown Tulsa, my friends and I were excited about the stay. However, we were disappointed to find that this hotel that everyone in Tulsa (at least that I talked to) thought was such a great spot was run-down and extremely outdated with no obvious luxury appointments. I am sad about this because I am originally from Tulsa and I want their downtown hotels to make a good first impression to travelers. Updates are unbelievably needed (i.e. hallway carpet that isn't stained, rumpled up in spots and having an indeterminate odor). The staff seemed nice and I can't say it was unclean, but it has the potential to be so much more. It is not luxurious, and that it the image that it seems to portray. I think that there may be plans for renovations in the next several years, which would be great, but until then, don't expect too much from this one.
