Didn't smell too bad A review of Edgewater Hotel & Casino
It was my first time in Laughlin and I found a great deal for 25 bucks a night for Sat. and Sun. When I got to the Edgewater, my boyfriend and I stood in line for about 30 minutes behind a group of people who looked like they weren't old enough to be there. Then when we finally got to the desk, they had lost my reservations and tried to weasal $10 more a night out of us. They said they were sold out of the room I reserved and put us on a non smoking floor with 2 beds. But I have to say, although the part of the hotel we were put in was old and the elevators were kinda scary, the room didnt smell too bad (I was really worried after reading some of the reviews) I have to warn people to check the sheets! Ours had a huge brown stain on one of the beds. Beware- all the windows ARE NOT tinted! The service at the restraunt downstairs was bad but the food was good. The jet ski rental people were awsome. There was a crappy band on Sat nite outside but there were $1 beers and hotdogs.....plus it was free entertainment. For 25 bucks a night, you really can't beat it. Don't go expecting too much and you shall be pleasantly surprised.
