Creekside Cabin A review of Jasmer's Fireplace Rooms
My husband and I spent 6 nights at Creekside as our "base" from which to explore Mt. Rainer and Mt. Saint Helen's. Although it's located in an area with other cabins and trailers, the property is beautiful and the 2 bedroom cabin immaculate. Woods separate the properties and a creek flows along the back so you do have privacy to read by the creek, relax on the decks, or soak in the hot tub. The kitchen is stocked better than mine at home so don't concern yourself with pots and pans, utensils, etc. There's no TV reception, but there is an assortment of videos in the cabin; and others can easily be rented at 2 places in town, which is only a 5 to 10 minute easy drive. The bathroom is huge and contains a full-sized washer and dryer. Expect visitors at dusk - raccoons and deer. The clear night sky explodes with stars. We took day trips to Paradise, Sunrise, and Windy Ridge at Mount St. Helen's while there and several other short trips into Longmire. Children will enjoy the steam train ride in Elbe.
