Conveniently located A review of Marriott Minneapolis City Center
My husband and I choose the Marriott City Center to enjoy a weekend downtown of dining and shows. When we arrived Friday night, I was very confused about how to actually get into the hotel, the lobby is on the fifth floor. Fifteen minute curbside parking is available, hardly enought time to go to the fifth floor for check-in, gather bags, use two different elevators to get to ones room. One must leave auto keys with valet for fifteen minute parking and finding the valet to retrieve keys was a challenge. However, the hotel employees were some of the most curtious I have encountered. Room was tiny, but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Parking was nearby and hotel provides substantial discount with unlimited in and out. Overall, a decent hotel for the price once the logistical quirks are figured out.
