Convenient but showing its age A review of Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina
We had a water facing room on the first floor in the corridor between the front desk and the meeting rooms. It was noiser than I would have liked. The hotel is well situated, right beside Bowens Wharf but it is old and showing its age. Breakfast was DISAPPOINTING--either the buffet with chafing scrambled eggs (I'll pass thanks) or three choices of special dishes, none of which I could eat. No eggs or omelettes cooked to order. Lunch and dinner (hey, its was POURING rain and gale force winds outside) were better and service was good.
