Convenient but expensive A review of Hyatt Regency DFW
We stayed here to overnight between a late night flight from Jamaica and an afternoon flight home in June, 2003. The hotel is a little shop-worn. The airport shuttle service was poor (long waits and the lady driver did not even offer to assist with our bags as she dropped us at the wrong terminal for our return flight). The ice machine was broken on our floor. The hotel staff was slow but did bring us one foam pillow late at night when we requested two of them. There was no "do not disturb" sign in the room so we were awakened bright and early by a maid with a noisy vacuum cleaner at our door. The check-in/out went smothly and the swimming pool and restaurant breakfast buffet are very nice. OVERALL: This is a rather expensive place that could be made a lot nicer with just a little effort.
