Colorful Mozart A review of Hotel Mozart
We stayed four nights at the Mozart in early July. The public rooms are quite fancy, with lots of marble, paintings, ornate furnishings and of couse classical music in the background. Not exactly my style, but a nice change from the usual hotel decor.
Friendly, helpful staff and a great location. Three blocks from the central station and a block and a half from the Grand Place!
Our room was small, but fine. We were on the 4th floor in the back. It was very quite which was surprising with all of the late night activity on 'Pita Street' in front of the hotel. I don't know if any of the rooms face the street, but if they do it will be very noisy.
Breakfast was simple: one crissont, one hard roll, one boiled egg, coffee & juice. No Nutella!
In summary the Mozart is convenient, visually interesting and a fair price. You may do better with the many choices in Brussels, but you sure could do worse!
