Clocktower under the interstate A review of Clock Tower Resort

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. The first night I was there I had to go through the room and do a little cleaning on my own. Then I tried to take a shower. The shower head was so loose that it was shooting water all the way over the rod and onto the toilet. After tightening that up, I finished and tried to turn the shower off. The plunger was stuck and it took hitting it with a book to get it to turn off. Then on to shaving. I turned the water on, lathered up to shave, looked down and the sink was half full, the plunger was down. I pulled the rod to let the water drain and it came all the way out of the sink into my hand. I had to poke a best western pen under the plug to finish. When it was time for bed, I went to set the alarm clock which did not work and the radio on it was at a very low volume with the control not making a difference. That however did not matter because I didn't sleep anyway. The interstate beside the clocktower has a toll booth on it and the tractor-trailors were hitting thier jake brakes all night long. It was like the room was under the overpass. Also my room, #1200, has the laundry room beside it and it felt like I was in a spin cycle most of the night! Not to mention the doors in the hall could be heard closing all night, especially from 8 p.m. to around midnight. I stayed for 4 nights and it was the same every night. I slept better in the car on the way home! Thank heavens I had someone with me to trade driving time. If you are thinking about staying here, don't. I wouldn't let my dog stay here! The Ramada across the street is a far more superior hotel.
