We stayed here from 18th through 21st Oct 2004 and really enjoyed ourselves. The quality of the room was high, bed very comfortable, everything worked, the daily cleaning immaculate. Used the bar a couple of times which was reasonably priced with excellent service. Parking @ $12/night, either Valet or self, is high but with the lot opposite belonging to the shops being watched by an eagle-eyed attendant from early in the morning, there isn't much alternative close by.

The location is good with 2 good restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance (try the Bimini Boatyard) + a good Publix supermarket just as close. We bought fruit and a danish there for breakfast as hotel prices were a bit steep, even for a coffee. The water taxis are also very close but frequency makes them more difficult to use as public transport rather than just sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel and Fort Lauderdale.
