Chez Pierre -outstanding value A review of Chez Pierre Bahamas
My wife and I just got back from an outstanding vacation( 9 day) at Chez Pierre on lovely and non touristy Long Island. We stayed at Chez Pierre and had breakfast and dinner there each night.
The food was great....Pierre prepared very interesting , tasty, and abundent dishes each night --breakfast was a hearty as you desired from simple toast /coffee/juice to French Toast/Eggs/Bacon.If you catch fish ,he wil even prepare it for you.
What makes this place special is the gentle attention that Pierre and his wife,Ann,give you each and every day to make sure you are satisfied with your stay.Ann booked the car,the guide--made all the land arrangements so the car was waiting at the airport(with an airport drop off). The fact that everything worked out as planned and suggested by her, made this an absolutely hastle free vacation.
We are experienced 30 year travelers in the Bahamas/Central America/South America----and this has to be the best value in the Western Hemisphere.
The lodging is simple and private--each elevated "cabin" a mere 50 yards from the water. You wake up and go to sleep ,to the sounds of waves breaking on the shore. And the beach?Beautiful sand---as much privacy as you want!
We are planning to go back for 4 days in late April.
