Cheap Central Warm A review of Botel Albatros

Just read the two reviews on here about the Botel. One is a fair review and it is a cheap and central place to stay in Prague. It's easy to find as it's on the river, near where the buses from the airport drop you off (don't trust any taxis in Prague ever the WILL rip you off!).

The staff apear surly and unfriendly but that just the way we see them and face it they are at work and you are just enyojng yourself in front of them.

As to the second review. How many hotels do you go in that you pay before you stay.....not many!!! The Czechs are honest on the whole (except Taxi drivers) so being fully paid was maybe a shock.

The Botel is cheap and cheerful. The rooms are like rooms in a caravan. You pay your money and you take your choices. I would for one stay there again. A shoprt walk down Kozel street or through the Jewish quarter makes the journey very pleasnat indeed. You should pop in to Casa Bleu on Kozel for beer and Natchos. Spend the afternoon in there if it's raining. YOu be happy , fed and not relieved of to many pennies..
