Casual elegance in an idyllic setting A review of The Mark Addy
My husband and I stayed at the Mark Addy half a dozen times in 2004-2005. The Inn was a very convenient place for us to stay when visiting our new home construction site in Wintergreen. From the moment I first arrived at the inn I knew we had discovered a real jewel in the Blue Ridge. The inn's setting is marvelous, with fantastic mountain views from the charming front porch and many of the rooms. The decor is delightful, somehow achieving a sense of cosiness in the midst of beautiful, priceless antiques. The breakfasts are outstanding, far superior to the fare at any other B&B where we have stayed. Most importantly, we were always treated with great hospitality and professionalism at the Mark Addy by the owner and his staff. I can honestly say that I recommend the Mark Addy without reservation.
