Can't wait 'til we stay at the Hilton Ballpark again! A review of Hilton St. Louis At The Ballpark
We just returned from our second stay at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark, and I have already booked again for next year (for the Joyce Meyer Women's Conference). I am picky, picky, picky about cleanliness, and I LOVE my creature comforts! This Hilton does not disappoint!
Even last year - when our stay was concurrent with the Hilton acquisition of the Marriott - everything was just perfect. Now the hotel has been completely renovated - so it is even MORE wonderful!
The main restaurant! Ooooh, the breakfasts!!! Yummy omelets and waffles cooked to order with the breakfast buffet (just wish they also did this on weekends). The St. Louis ribs - ooooh, the ribs!!!
WHAT A REALLY GREAT VIEW! At check-in, the clerk apologized because the "city view " wasn't the best. What was he thinking?! We overlooked the park with two fountains, which had FOUR separate bridal parties taking pictures on Saturday. We could also see a big chunk of the arch from our window, along with TERRIFIC fireworks on Saturday night!!! (Did you do all that just for US???!!!)
My Hilton favorites also include:
- The best room air conditioning ever!
- Heavenly beds and linens!
- Superior maid service!
- Super, super friendly restaurant staff!
- Cozy fireplace in the lobby!
- Happy, helpful concierge staff!
- Perfect location!
- Handy Starbucks right off the lobby!
My only suggestion for the future is that it would be terrific to have a small buffet in the lobby (after the restaurant closes) with light sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts for guests returning late from the conference. The hotel did this in 2005, and it was VERY appreciated. (And bet you'd make a bundle!) ;-)
Can't wait to return to next year's Joyce Meyer Women's Conference and this great hotel! FUN! FUN! FUN! FUN! FUN!
