Can't judge book by the cover... A review of Holiday Inn Resort Daytona Beach Oceanfront
You can drive up and down A1A all day but you can't honestly pick a hotel/motel resort just by looking at the front of the property.
Sometimes the outside looks better than the inside. Now I recently spent a few days at Inn on the Beach and even though the outside "looks" old, the inside, considering the motel is 30 or so years old, is in good shape. The lobby was recently renovated, rooms have new furniture and the beachside pool and lounge is to die for. This is truly the most important quality of a "beachside" property. The restaurent food is really good but you wouldn't even know that If you didn't go inside to see. The staff if very courteous and they do a great job in maintaining a very old property. So if you're looking for "value" and a full-service, clean, friendly, family-oriented atmosphere, I would definately recommend Inn on the Beach for a good time for all ages.
