Beware of This Hotel A review of Houston Marriott Westchase

Stayed in this hotel in March 2002 attending a high school student organization convention. Three adult sponsors assigned room with one bed-COZY!! Four large teenage boys per room-1 bed-floor very hard. Front desk not concerned at all-housekeeping very nicely promised rollaway beds-never delivered during the four days we were there!! I finally located a WalMart and bought sleeping bags so they didn't have to cover up at night with pool towels!! While trying to load up, our lock froze-after security tried to open it for 45 minutes, the lock had to be taken apart and battery replaced (room 445-remember???). In hurry to get checked out, left some items behind-security and housekeeping promised via phone to send or notify of search to find them-one month later, STILL WAITING!!! Rude waiters in restaurant evidently upset over all those teenagers!! That's who attend these student conventions!! Overall bad experience!! We could certainly tell that we were a captive audience!! We were the "lucky" ones, some schools (with confirmation letters in hand)were put up in other motels because the front desk gave their rooms to other guests. This meant their attendees had to be shuttled to all meeting and competitions-very inconvenient!! Definitely would not recommend to anyone!!!
