Best value, best vacation! A review of Pine Tree Point Resort
We stayed at the Pine tree point last September and had the best time ever. The hotel is a private residence turned hotel/resort that features great accomodations along with great packages. We stayed two days in a river front room that actually hung over the water ( we fished from our balcony )had two dinners and two breakfast, plus champagne upon arrival for $239 total! The food was really good, we enjoyed our waitress so much that we asked for her when ever we dined. Although the package did not include the hotels Sunday Brunch, after one look we up graded at extra charge and feasted on the most spectacular feast we have ever experienced. Cascades of fresh fruit, home made over sized muffens, a recipee for french toast that was good enough to kep us coming back for seconds, three prime cuts of various meats, one chafing dish after another of hot melt in your mouth speciality dishes, all available while listening to live jazz playing right in the dining room. We liked the location because the property is surrounded by water. After walking through the gounds and garden areas we took a hike into the woods for a nature walk that ended at a peninsula with a breath taking view of a castle that is a local tourist attraction. Each night after dinner we returned to our room to watch the sun set, it lit up our room with a warm orange glow which gave our beautiful room that extra touch. Parking was at times a drag, I guess we were not the only
ones who found this best kept secret.
