Three Rivers, CA is hardly a town. It happens to be a concentration of buildings between Visalia and the entrance to Giant Sequoia NP. The HIExpress however, was a nice hotel, for where we were, and provided a good place to rest and relax before venturing in the NP. The location was great since the journey through Giant Sequoia NP was a very intense day of driving. Adding the extra drive from Visalia would have only made it worse. There is a nice market across the street with prices that riveled those of my neighborhood mega store. They could have raked you over the coals since they are the only place in town. There is also a pizza place and a Mexican rest. across the street. Free breakfast was a good way to start the day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go to Giant Sequoia NP. Only book one night though, because to see the NP right you enter at one location and through another.
