Best hotel in Prague? If not then the best must be 6-star A review of Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel, Prague
I have only stayed in Prague once, so I cannot offer a comparison with other hotels that may be available but this I can say - the Alcron is superb.
During my stay I was fortunate enough to have an upgrade to their executive floor. I would imagine that there is not much difference in the rooms, bath robes and the like, but the real treat was breakfast in the Alcron restaraunt. I have never had Champagne and Lobster omlette for breakfast before. Some things can be habit forming!
If all the rooms in the hotel are of a similar standard to the one I had then I would have no hestitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. This truly is a 5* hotel, and being so close to Wenceslas square it is perfectly placed.
The lobby bar is cosy and intimate, and on both of the nights I was there a great jazz quartet were playing (well but not intrusively).
I cannot wait to go back to Prague, and when I do I shall stay at the Alcron again. No question about it.
