Basic but Clean, Quiet and Convenient A review of Denisa Hotel
We stayed at the Denisa as part of a pre-booked budget weekend break. Although the rooms are quite basic. they are clean, quietly situated and there is plenty of hot water. The beds are rather on the hard side, but our room was spacious and there was a fridge which was useful. Breakfast was very good - plenty of selection - including cereals, breads and pastries, yoghurts, cold meats and cheese. The breakfast room is quite pleasant. The hotel offers free luggage storage after check-out, safes are available and there is an Internet connection in the reception area, which sells stamps, postcards. drinks and snacks. The Denisa is in a good location - although away from the main centre, it is 15 minutes walk (uphill) from Prague Castle and two minutes walk to the Dejvicka metro stop which is on the main 'A' line.
Although certainly not luxurious, the Denisa is perfectly acceptable for a low-cost short break.
